Weekend!

I had a GREAT Weekend!

Hubby came home and it was awesome!  Not crabby and stressed, like he has been lately!
We really enjoyed him being home!

And Saturday I got to go to a Bridal Shower, then a Bachelorette partying after!  Good times!

It's Okay......(not really) that I'm secretly becoming a hoarder!

I buy too many clothes and things at the thrift store! 

UGH.....at least I admit my collecting tendencies, so that must mean I'm kinda still mentally sane. 

HI I'M AMY.....I'm a thrift store addict!

It's Okay......that I Owww and Ahhh over Hot men on TV!

My husband is gone (working out of town) a lot.

So instead of messing around with the neighborhood player.

I fantasize about unattainable men on television.

Sounds like a pretty good resolution to me......haha!

It's not like Adam Levine is going to come steal me away from my husband any day soon!!!

It's Okay.......that I'm happy that we didn't get any snow in my town!  

And parts of the state got up to a foot of snow today.

It's Okay......that I don't like Kim Kardashian or Kanye,

but I still think their baby girl is sooooo Precious!

Saturday's I'm Grateful For......

* Family

The last couple of days I've had breakfast with my sister, supper with my sister-in-law, had my niece spend the night, and saw my sister & brother-in-law last night for a visit.

* Party Planning

I LOVE having things to plan!  So I'm throwing my Sister a 50th Birthday Party.  I have a month to plan it and get Excited about it!

* My Husband

He's such a hard working man!  We had a great 5 days when he was home last week!  Then he had to drive to Colorado to work, fly home, next day fly to Tennessee for work meetings for a couple of days, and from TN he'll fly back to Colorado for work.  Flights were delayed and they lost his luggage (sending it to Salt Lake City instead of Minnesota).  He works so hard and provides for us!

I LOVE him Lots!

And MISS HIM VERY MUCH!

My parents will be home from Florida in less than 4 weeks!!!  Can't wait to have them back!

This week because I made an Awesome White Chicken Chili, from a recipe I got on there!

White Chicken Chili Soup

Ingredients

• 3 cups chicken broth
• 2 15.5 oz. cans Great Northern Beans drained and rinsed
• 2 cups shredded chicken
• 1 small can diced green chilies
• 1 tsp. cumin
• 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp. oregano
• 1/2 tsp. pepper
• 1 cup sour cream
• 2 cups shredded cheese Monterrey Jack or Mexican Blend

Instructions

1. In a large pot, add broth, beans, chicken, green chilis, cumin, garlic powder, oregano and pepper. Simmer on low-medium heat for 20-30 minutes, or until it is heated through.
2. Right before serving, stir in sour cream and cheese until it is all blended and melted. ENJOY!

OMG....this has lifted my spirits Intensely!  I Love feeling the sunshine and warmth!

Spring is my Favorite time of year!!!

I know that we are NOT done with winter yet, but I'm enjoying the temps above Zero!
